so... in this work related posting, i want to share how fortunate i am to work with such incredible, thoughtful, and amazing people. and i'm so blessed to not only call these people my colleagues, but they are my friends - and people that i respect, admire, and care about. the person who will be covering my desk during my leave, organized a really nice shower for me at work this past week - weds. thank you AB (we share the same initials... yes). and i received an entire trunk full of loot and incredibly thoughtful and generous gifts including a hand knit hat and booties, some onsies that say "i love mommy" and "i love daddy" in chinese, plenty of practical items - diapers, toys that are also teethers, binkies/pacifiers - and some really cute things too. shout out to the moms/new moms... who knew some of the things that would be MOST important and MOST overlooked. here's the hat and booties... 
a few of my co-workers pooled together for a kate spade diaper bag... and that's ALLLLLL MINE! i love the bag, and c will too :).
but, i have to say that p was most excited about the gift from my manager and his partner. they went to the cutest boutique in sf, and picked up a ton of stuff for us/c. check out this "daddy diaper bag"...
and the rubber duck with "A"ttitude!!!
we received so many amazing gifts - including some orange vans, lil' levi jeans, a thermal tee, and truckers, a cal onsie (it's so cute, i'll compromise a bit on this one), diapers, quicksilver outfits, a little penguin shirt, and SO much more.
