but sunday, april 19th had a lot in store for p and i. we went to church as usual at 11am, headed to fremont to hang for a bit... i ran some errands with momma fongo and b, and before we left the house to come back home - decided to check under the hood of the suburban... LITERALLY. i wanted to check the oil level, so... i climbed up on the front bumper, checked out the dipstick, and concluded that the subby was a half quart low and needed an oil change. the coolant reservoir was also empty, so i added the oil and waited for a while outside for back up to arrive with the coolant. it was also VERY hot that day, hotter than it has been all year. but i felt great, really i did. i definitely didn't expect that anything i would have done that day could have set off the evening's festivities...
p and i headed home in the subby, by then it was about 5pm or so and by the time we arrived home and watched a show from the DVR, it was time to eat. so i threw together a quick spaghetti sauce over angel hair and some garlic bread.
maybe it was the food?
