happy halloween - chase's first...

on our way to the fall family festival... this is "small paul" meets charlie brown...

and for his first, we all had to get into character.

here's chase with his uncle dd and some friends from church.

uncle dd had a great time hanging out with chase and showing him around the games. it was a little sunny, but who could complain about the great weather.

and the grandparents even brought "snoopy" along.

and after all was said and done, and we had spent all of our tickets... it was time to take a quick nap with grandma and tai tai.

gma fongo gets to spend time with baby chase every week... but his other gparents don't get to see him quite as often. so it's nice when they get to spend time with him.

daddy took chase outside on the deck in our "backyard" to get a taste of the fresh air... and got some really great photos of our little guy.

6 month well baby visit

it was time for another trip to the doctor's office on thursday. chase is doing well... growing very long, developing nicely. she was impressed by his sitting ability and being able to transfer objects back and forth between his hands. but our baby is still just REALLY small. and although he's eating, it's still not enough to get him to chub up enough. so, we're on a mission in the next two weeks to try and chunk him up a bit with some solid foods, and we go back nov. 5th for a weight check. please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

six months, and done.

it's so hard to believe that six months have passed, and our little guy

is growing up to be a baby... no longer an infant. soon, we'll be

blogging about how he's running all over the house... we'll have to call that

posting "chasing chase" :).

he may be a little h.m., but he's generally a happy little guy.

don johnson... flash back to the 80s. so... i am going to put my husband out there, but i figure... he was silly enough to pose like this for the camera. and he deserves another moment in the spot light.

p's hair grows like the weeds in our yard - fast. and with me being back at work, and little time for ourselves on the weekend, things like haircuts, pedicures, and going to the gym take a back seat. so the other night he broke down, but still with reservation, he asked me to give him a hair cut. taking trust to a whole new level!!!

sadly, i don't have an after shot. and it's not because the hair cut was bad. he actually said that he would let me cut his hair again in a few weeks :).

bundle me up

it felt a bit "fall-like" last week, and it's been a little bit chilly in our house in the mornings... so we've bundled up baby chase to make sure he stays nice and warm... i do have to say, that i'm glad he's a little bit older heading into the fall/winter season. but thanks to auntie b, chase has the coolest space heater in his room that automatically adjusts the temperature and also has a remote control...

i love this beanie on him.

week 25

solid food... means...

well, you know what it means, and if you don't... email me :).

since he got so stuffed up with the sniffles, we decided to try him on a little rice cereal. the date was october 2, 2009... and he was really into it. he opened his mouth as the spoon got closer to his mouth, and started to learn how to push the food back with his tongue to swallow it.

MORE... now please mommy!
