ok, so it wasn't really that long ago. although, hawaii already seems ages ago... (and we want to go back :)!).

week 43

hanging with auntie s

so... when we were in LA last week, chase had a chance to spend some great time with his auntie s. sadly though, i was not around most of the time to be able to document their adventures. what i do know, is that auntie s spoiled him with a new rain coat, a cute little woven shirt (from an unnamed competitor), and of course... snacks, time together, and LOOOONG walks. i have to say, that i think that he enjoyed the long walks the most... not only did he get the best "seat" in the house in the baby bjorn, but auntie s walked him all over century city and showed him all kinds of LA cool.

we had a really great time hanging out.

we miss you already and we're already thinking about our next visit (soon)!

c-level

i've still got catching up to do for the last couple of weeks on the blog... but i had to post a few from yesterday, feb. 12th. i had to be down in los angeles to support a meeting for my boss and our leadership team. and we met them at our levi's store in beverly hills to drop off lunch for the crew... and mind you, this crew consists of all of our c-level execs!

they all LOVE chase (he joins me at work most friday afternoons), and i have to say... chase knows how to keep them entertained!

it was so cool to spend so much time with chase in hawaii... we got to see him really make some good developmental progress in terms of "free" standing.

i feel like he just thinks he is SO big all the time now.

they made it about age first... and the "old" guys really hung in there, and had quite an impressive showing. i have heard a lot of talk about rematches, and even a bit of trash talkin'...

(if you don't know my dad... just know that we get a lot of our competitiveness from him :)!!!)
