week 48

where's baby chase?

we were having a good time :)

flashback 11 months...

11 months

I took this photo this morning... I can't believe that it has almost been a full year. It has been the most incredible, albeit sleepless, 11 months of our lives. He has filled our days with a tremendous amount of joy (not to say we don't go without battles)...



I never knew it could be THIS good.



And while we're at it... this video was from 3 weeks ago. He's faster and much more steady than he was just a few short weeks ago. I am amazed how quickly they develop. No wonder he has a hard time sleeping!

Also... when I have some time, I will go back and complete the week in reviews and chase faces for his first year. I have all the pictures, just need to "collage" them up.

he actually didn't eat any of it. but one of chase's buddies from my work place, wanted me to make absolutely sure that i brought a cupcake home from chase.

he squished around the frosting in his hand, and then just tried to wipe it off :). we'll see what he does in a month for his birthday.

pretty funny what kids can do. chase has been doing this for a couple of months now, but it took a day with uncle dd to capture it in a picture.

just ask little chase the question... helllloooo? and he may just respond by holding his hand up to his ear.

don't kids just pick up on the funniest things? we're already starting to watch what we do (i.e. daddy throws food up in the air and catches it in his mouth, and mommy turns to daddy with "that look".)

i can't believe how grown up he has become... he actually looks so big in the bathtub these days, and he's really enjoying these toys that he got from grandma m and grandpa c.

ok, so... we have learned that of the many methods of transportation: trains, planes and automobiles; chase much prefers either being on a plane... or being on a bus. he still dislikes the car seat with a passion (a crying fit of passion).
