one of these things is not like the other

bath slippers

auntie s gave baby chase the cutesy, snoopy bathrobe and slippers. and it's taken him a while to grow into them... but we tried on the slippers after his last bath. i think he'll just need a few more weeks and he won't get "lost" in the robe. stay tuned for a future post of the robe.

week 23

about a month ago today...

it was a hot one, but he slept right on through it.

doesn't he just look like an angel (or am i too bias?).

we had a great meal, prepared by gma fong and auntie boo.

we started with a yummy spinach salad.

and ended with black forest cake.

p caught us napping last weekend after a long, hard work week...

still gotta sleep when we can. and i need to learn to try and get to bed earlier during the week!

dining with friends

some friends had us over for a very grown up dinner the other night... and it probably would have felt that way, except for the fact that i was wearing the bjorn when we sat down to dinner :). but chase was an angel as usual... sleeping through almost the entire meal.

but the spread was really what stole the evening... and i didn't even get a chance to photograph the dessert (brownie sundaes!).

doesn't look like something out of a magazine? it was an italian feast.

and the company was pretty great too. here's another shot that kinda looks a little like "insta-baby". he's yours for the moment!

and he absolutely loved hanging out with j!

1) play with daddy and gma

2) eat well from the bottle for mommy

3) play time on the playmat

4) swinging in the swing

5) commanding from the command center

and of course, waiting for mommy to come home...

can we go and pick her up from the BART station yet?

gma fongo brought home the houston command center for baby chase last week. here he is... checking out the controls. he is quite confident in his ability to rule the world...

this button fixes the economy...

and here's the one for world peace.

this is the back up command center, in case the one at gma's house goes on the fritz.
