at the hospital - in triage

well, at least we knew where to go once we got to the hospital - third floor to check in to "triage". this is the curtained part of the emergency room for pregnant women. we arrived around 9:30p after a very slow and safe drive from home to the hospital. thanks p.

they asked us a few questions, good to have been pre-registered, and they got me into a small curtained room in a really short time. still no labor pains... thus the smile on my face:

smiles all around...

and then nurse susan came and did the lithmus test to confirm our conclusions, and it was over to labor and delivery to be checked in. the time was...

so, i think the "proceed with caution" message about the delivery and next few posts was in the post just prior to this one. it's really more funny than anything though. here are the pretty things they asked me to put on because i had "ruptured". victoria secret - eat your heart out!

by the way, if you are wondering what kind of material that is... it's a very stretchy, netted kind of material (i know TMI).

It really was a text book delivery! Andrea did sooooo well, and made it look easy. She was a real trooper. Paul at the helm of the delivery was wonderful. To see your grandchild born is ....well, I am speechless; We are soooo blessed. PTL! Grandmafongo
