so, you all know me... i am a controlling, driven, perfectionist... sometimes... to a fault, but hopefully most of the time it just gets me to a successful result.
but this has truly been a life lesson for me in so many ways. and i've slowly been preparing to make a break from work, let someone else do my job for 4 months, and focus on the most incredible miracle i could ever imagine experiencing in life. it's been hard at times, it's taken several months, but i am checking out... really - i am! i think he will do a fantastic job, we've been training for 4 weeks now and we have 1 more week to go. but, last week was my last full week at work. and this week, i'll only be in the office tuesday and thursday... working from home the other days.
i am looking forward to spending some time with p, preparing a little bit more for c, and enjoying the freedom to spend time with family and friends in the last few weeks before this baby arrives. and i look forward to the change, and i look forward to the moments... and hopefully, little baby c will give me a couple of weeks to have some of those moments :)!!!
