nicknames for chase: CAB, buddy, buddy boy-ski, bubba
things he's doing this week: he's learned to purse his lips and "spit" quite consistently, he's reaching for things... toys, strings, he folds his hands together, he's sitting up in the bumbo and on daddy's lap, he's napping a lot in the mornings, he woke up and had a tough time going back to sleep at 4am on 8.1 and... he's taken to the bottle :) (note: this requires quite a few tricks which include visual stimulation like the fan, holding him in a position where his head is leaned back on my shoulder and his back is against my chest, and a chant that goes "mommy's nai nai for baby chase, mommy's nai nai in this place), he's SO close to rolling over both front to back AND back to front
other stuff: the 0-3 month clothes is getting snug and he's feeling chunkier/chubbier every day. if i had to guess, he's probably a good 13.5 pounds, but we'll go back to the doctor in about 3 weeks for his 4 month check up and do a full report then
oh, and he's taken a special liking to his abc's and twinkle twinkle little star... i'm thinking it's because the tune is the same for both.
