where does the time go? we're about half way through the day... and it's been a great day so far. chase did me a favor and slept in until 9:30am (btw, he also slept 10 hours the night before entirely in his own room from 9pm-7am and 8 hours the week before). we headed to church to meet with the young families minister a bit before service, because we're having chase dedicated next sunday. and after we met with her, paul went to get me some coffee (venti soy latte... yum) and i hung out with chase in the nursery. and we ended up leaving him in the nursery for the very first time too. he did really well and made it all the way through the sermon, before his number (194) flashed up on the screen for us to come and get him.
from there, we went to lunch - sushi at little mad fish. chase had his first taste of lemon birthday cake... it was de-lish! check it out below (thanks auntie s).

chase's favorite part though, was the strawberry garnish (as his mom, can't be mad at that :)!). and the celebration continues... but you'll have to wait to see a few more pictures, until after i've had a chance to catch up on some posting. thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. 2010 is going to be a great year.

Looks like it was a great day and fun celebration. The best gift was how well Chase is behaving by himself! Yeah! Growing up.
