just this week, we've finally started getting a hang of this "nap time" thing. up until now, baby chase hasn't taken a nap longer than 30 minutes during the day... unless he's being carried, hanging out in the baby bjorn, or he's cried (or more like screamed) himself to sleep in the car. yes, this last one... has been a sad situation for mom. hopefully he'll grow up out of it soon. but, back to the naps. he's taken two really good, long naps in the pack in play. my only trouble, is making sure i keep an eye on the vibration feature. if it goes off, and i let it lapse too long... he seems to "know" and just wake right up. oh, and i did try the crib too... but this picture is really an illusion. because he woke up about 5 minutes after i laid him down.
uncle g came over and tried to help us with nap time (notice the "pillow" that uncle g thought would make him more comfy). 
but in the middle of settling him down... he introduced the phone. i guess he thought chase needed to make one more call before heading off to dreamland!
ring, ring... it's for you!
he's cute when he's awake FOR SURE, but when he sleeps... there is such a sweet peace about him.
