we had a lot of fun celebrating gma fongo's birthday with her - it was a milestone in her life and we really packed the day with fun festivities. she planned the day for us to hang with her.
but first we had to make sure we had the right attire...
then... we surprised her at the 9am church service (normally, we let daddy sleep in on sunday mornings and go to the 11am, because saturdays are his big work night. but he was a real trooper!). even baby chase was still a little bit tired...
then we went to the pancake house for a super delish breakfast. check out the apple pancake. you gotta come try it one of these days. it's as big as baby chase.

and the owner absolutely insisted on making chase a pancake too.
after a brief intermission, it was off to the bowling alley for a few games - two hours worth... and check out the birthday girl. she even has a bowling ball with her name on it!
nice form... i missed catching the strikes though, but this was preeeeetttty close.
after bowling, we went and and had our fill at full moon - topped off by a beautiful cake made by auntie t...
here's to many more happy birthdays!

Yeah, Steph, we faraways have to just drool over it, huh? Looks YUM! I have a feeling Gma's 60th birthday may have been the best yet thanks to Baby Chase!
