showered with love

first... a very BIG thank you auntie t, t, j and b... for planning and throwing a beautiful, love-filled shower for me and baby chase (twice actually). it was so well thought out, down to the very last detail. the menu was yum: stuffed mushrooms, puff pastry, chicken salad in shells, jello, fruit salad, green salad, caprese salad, kettle corn, croissants, and a homemade - lemon filled/lemon curd cake (check out the design in the collage)... and the company so loving and supportive. we are blessed beyond words.

baby chase even let auntie t get in a good feeding... "fill'er up"

and he sported a sweet, new velour outfit given to him by auntie e. thank you for the warm, cozy and cute outfit. it was perfect for the shower... and he had all the ladies swooning!

and we had a couple of activities... everyone had the chance to decorate and personalize onsies for baby chase, and we hung them on display on a clothesline in the front window. check back as we cycle through them in the next few weeks, so you can see everyone's creativity come to life.

along with the onsies, the theme to "lay hands" on baby chase and the new besmehn family run strong throughout. this is the beautiful canvas that will hang over baby chase's crib. all the women at the shower, as well as all the men that gathered to celebrate and support p the next day, have placed their hands on us... a picture of the big "b" coming soon.
