a lil' therapy

it has been an emotional couple of days. i wrote a post about it, but it's probably more than needs to be shared... but we'll see. for now, i'll keep it to myself and share what i've been doing to occupy my time this evening. it's been about focusing on the baby's room.

i hung the stars...

and began another project. by now, you've seen the champ snoopy theme popping up everywhere - my blogger icon, the valence in the room, and the inspiration photo. well, we also wanted to add a personal touch of our own, so p and i came up with the idea of painting a snoopy in a taxi "c.a.b" on the wall. so about a week ago, i found a couple of pictures online and used the very primative microsoft "paint" application to combine them and give me a starting point.

cute right? we thought the cab theme was pretty fitting, being his initials and all. and here's the WIP (work in progress).

after i stepped back to check out my work, i was kind of thinking that i actually like the "sketch" rendition. BUT i know that color will make it really "pop", so that will come next.
