in just the last month, chase has made such wonderful new discoveries... learned new behaviors, and he's gotten much, much stronger. the short list goes like this:
1) the menu has grown to include sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, apples and pears... but he still prefers sweet potatoes and a little rice cereal
2) he started reaching for paul and i to carry him
3) he cut his first tooth and he's close to a second one
4) he started scootin'
5) he's beginning to try and pull himself up onto things
6) the babbling has become more consistent
7) he's gotten better in the stroller and car seat with paul and me
8) he started putting his hands together in a clapping motion, and he watches them intently as he opens and closes them
9) started to understand cause and effect... i drop the spoon, it falls on the floor... mommy or daddy pick it up... (and repeat)
and those are just the things that i remembered to write down...

that's awesome....he's growing up so fast and getting so active! what a cutie!!
