so by now you've probably heard our good news. and if not, we apologize for missing out on being able to tell you live and in color. but blogs ARE a pretty cool way to share news (s - thanks for popularizing this in the family :)!).
our first OB appointment was on september 25, 2008 - officially "auntie di's birthday"; and our little baby is growing nicely, a full 22mm and approximately 9 weeks old. the books we are reading keep telling us to compare the size of our baby to food... "today, your baby is the size of a sesame seed, a kidney bean... " and right now we're working our way up to a kumquat (wk 10).
the first 8 weeks were fairly easy, but then i caught a cold and the misery started. but we'll leave that in the past, because im 99% recovered and all is well in the world again. my cousin, t, let me borrow this really cool motion sickness bracelet that sends small impulses through my wrist to help with the queasiness. so far, so good.
i'm fairly close to my word quota for the day, so i'll leave you with some images of a. di's birthday celebration. enjoy!

I'm sorry I misread the title of this blog, not that I'm complaining, just not what I expected.
Fun! We are so excited for you and Paul :) I used that electric band, too - is the gel still very expensive? Email me for other products that also work (not fit for the blog, you know)
